SHECKY'S GIRLS NIGHT OUT / NYC - 2010

So after much anticipation, my girlfriends & I attended Shecky's in New York City this past wk. The space at 82 Mercer was beautiful with high ceilings and brick walls. The place does get croweded with so many women ready to shop! For those of you who are unfamiliar with Shecky's, "Shecky’s Girls Night Out" is an exciting shopping event that takes place in random cities periodically. For 5 hours, you and your girlfriends will be treated to yummy cocktails while shopping for the latest fashions, beauty supplies and accessories from up and coming designers. At a Shecky’s Girls Night Out, trendsetters give sample sales where designers offer special discounts on all their goods. I mean seriously, Girlfriends, Discounts, Cocktails, and Clothes....could there be any better way to shop.


Here's a review for my 1st event of "Shecky's Girls Night Out".
The atmosphere is so much fun, there was a female DJ by the bars spinning hot tracks, shirt-less Guy models handing out free samples of "Veet", Picture Booths, Free Give-aways, Passion Party Consultants, Radio Station Game Areas, and Staions to get your Make-up professionaly done. The vendors were wall to wall. There were clothing, jewelry, purse, and beauty vendors to name a few. Most of the vendors had special sales in honor of Girls Night Out. Me being a lover of Fedoras, I spotted a few but they were priced at way too much I thought so I decided to pass. I knew I could get the same exact one elsewhere for less. I can't say I found too may sales, but then again I was feeling very tipsy over all those cocktails and I was too busy enjoying myself and joking with my girlfriends the whole time..lol. But for the most part, my girlfriends and I did get lots of goodies not to mention our stuffed "GOODIE BAGS" :). If you purchase a Goodie Bag Ticket, then you are given a ticket upon entering. You then head to a certain area where 1 Goodie Bag is handed per person holding a ticket. FYI: Goodie Bags are NOT all the same. Inside the goodie bags were samples of various products that ranged from hand & body creams to home fragrances. My bag was stuffed with full-size products of fabulous things. I got to claim my goodie bag and my sister's goodie bag who wasn't able to join us that night. So YAY!!! for me.
Afterwards we headed back to Jersey for dinner and then went to watch "Sex and The City 2". This was my 2nd time watching the movie...and everytime I love it more and more.
