Haunted Bloody Night in NYC

Last Night we were able to join the parade of fun and visit Blood Manor with some of our close friends. Blood Manor is New York City's Premier Haunted Attraction. A haunted labyrinth that combines over 15 themed rooms of horror with a pitch black maze and NYC’s only and all new haunted 3-D maze , where guests receive 3-D glasses to view images as demons, monsters and ghouls stalking them. Blood Manor is meant to be very intense and very scary. It is not recommended for those under 14 years of age. Before we headed to the city..we all met at our friends house for an amazing dinner and other fun stuff (thanks JOE & AMY!!) We had a blast! We only got alittle wet while waiting in line, the guys weren't so lucky though :/ Joe, LOL.. hubby and I..lol (He's so sensitive to flash, I always forget.) I don't even know what this is..but he was sooo...scary looking. He walked on stilts which made him even scarier :{ Other spooky actors of Blood Manor..

Halloween Costume Ideas!

Ok...so Halloween is one of my favorite celebrations of the year. For me it always sparks creativity and the freedom to role-play - Funny, Silly, Scary, Beautiful or whatever else there's in between. It's what makes dressing up for the occasion so much fun. This yr. my inspiration comes from the amazing work of Artist Sylvia Ji who's paintings are based on the Mexican Female Figure known as "La Catrina". My plan is to somehow incorporate Miss Syvia Ji's Awesome Face Painting with a twist of burlesque. Gettin my gitchee-gitchee-ya-ya on though will take some work...lots of it. Inspired by the cabaret atmosphere of Moulin Rouge, the remake of Lady Marmalade should look as good as it sounds..i think... i hope...lol. Check out some of Sylvia Ji's Paintings...FRIGGIN AWESOME!!! **La Catrina is a well known figure in the Mexican Culture. She's almost like a mascot for the universally known holiday known as "Dia De Los Muertos".** Check Out More Of Her Amazing Work: SYLVIA JI Costume Brainstorming....
